You will likely find one on a lovely half-timbered house, grazingly jutting out of a multitude of flowers and hues, and bordered by unmistakably European tile-style windows. Indeed, the Bavarian Clock - symbol of unfailing precision and consistency paces the daily routine of locals in small towns throughout Bavaria.

The centerpiece of the town square, this conspicuous timekeeper, not unlike the cuckoo clock of yore in appearance, pervades village life much like the aroma of spice bread or the fruit vendor's yawp at the break of each day. The Bavarian Clock is also a keeper of the region's history - one marked by perseverance and countless births, as well as secular traditions which celebrate a people's repressible love of life (captured on the puzzle by figures in festive costume threading through a partially ivy-decked arch).

Together with the neighboring church, the clock-bearing building constitutes a main point of convergence for the town's inhabitants. The Bavarian Clock not only tells time with unequivocal accuracy, but is equally eloquent in its telling of the story of a society highly conversant in matters of time and life, making the most of the former to relish every minute of the latter.
